About NEPAL:

Nepal is a himalaya kingdom which lies between Tibet(the people's republic of China)to the north and India to the south.The elevation of the country range from 6om above sea level to the highest point on earth.Mt everest at 8,848m,all within a distance of 150km with climatic conditions ranging from subtropical to arctic.This wild variety of ecosystem,the greatest  mountain range on earth,thick tropical jungles teeming with a wealth of wildlife,thundering rivers and forested hills.  

Nepal is a potpourri of ethnic groups and sub-groups who speak over 70 laguages and dialects nepal offers an astonishing diversity of sightseeing attractions and adventure opportunities found nowhere else on earth.

1)      2percent of all flowering plants in the world;

2)      8percent of the world's population of birds(more than 848 species);

Visa information:

--free visa for all tourists who visit Nepal only for 3days.

--free visa for tourist of SAARC countries and people's Republic of china.

Visa can be obtain either on arrival in Nepal or from Royal Nepalese Embassy or Consulate or other Mission offices abroad.Two passport size photographs required.

 

GETTING TO NEPAL:

By Air:The Royal Nepal Arilines(RA)is the National Flag Carrier of Nepal with flight to/from Delhi,Hongkong,Mumbai,Osaka,Shanghi and Singapore.Other Internation Airlines operating from/to Kathmandu (Capital of Nepal) are Lauda Air(Vienna),Biman Bangladesh Airlines(Daca),China South-West Arilines(Lasa),Condor(Munich),Druk Air(Paro),Gulf Air(Abu Dhabi),Indian Airlines(Delhi,Calcutta,Varanasi),Qatar Airways(Doha),Thai International(Bangkok),Martin Air(Amsterdam via Sharjah)

 

By land:All visitors entering Nepal by land must use no other entry points other than(1)Kakarbhitta(2)Birgunj(3)Bhairahawa(4)Nepalgunj(5)Dhangadi(6)Mahendra Nagar in Nepal-India border and (7)Kodari in the Nepal –China border.The  Overland tourists entering Nepal with their Vehicles must possess and international carnet.

 

MAJOR TOURIST ATTRACTIONS:

Trekking:Trekking in one of the best way to explore and experience Nepal's  unbeatable combination of natural beauty and cultural riches.If you  are reasonably fit,have a spirit of adventure and are not afraid of walking in the mountains,you qualify for it.The entire length and breadth of the kingdom is a paradise for trekkers.There are easy and strenuous treks lasting from a few days to several weeks.All of them have great scenery.

Mountaineering:

Mountainneering is another prime attraction of Nepal.Mountaineering can range from climbing the highest peak of the world to climbing lower peak.

For those who can not withstand the rigorousness of mountain climbing there are mountain flights which fly around Mt.Everest. Mountain flight offer passenger a spectacular view of the Himalayan peaks.The one hour mountain flight takes with in camera range of some of the highest peaks in the world.  

 

Bungy Jumping:

The ultimate thrill of  a bungy jump can be experienced in Nepal at one of the best sites in the world.Nepal's bungy jumping site is situated 160meters over the wild River Bhote Koshi.The site is located close to the Nepal-Tibet Border.  

 

Rafting/Kayaking/Canyoning:

Rafting is one of the most exciting ways of exploring the nooks and crannies of Nepal.Options range from paddle rafting as a term to luxury safari-style trip where staff is provided to address the group needs to kayaking alone in the waters.Yet another extremely popular water-sport option is canyoning to explore hidden landscapes.The best time for these activities is October through mid-December and March through early May.  

 

Mountain Biking:

Nepal’s  diverse terrain is what mountain biker’s dream are made of.Biking offers an environmentally sound way of exploring the country.It is possible to go biking the entire length of Nepal.

Royal Chitwan and Bardiya National Parks Wildlife Reserve offer exciting safari holidays.Jungle activities here include venturing into deep jungle on elephant back or four wheel drive to view  wild animals in their natural habitat,canoe rides on the jungle rivers,nature walks,bird watching and village tour eccursions.
