Woman found dead
Achham, March 12
Batulee Koli, mother of two children, of Payal
Thapada village in the district is found dead in a cowshed on Friday. Family
sources said she had been staying there for three days after se had had her
period. A conventional tradition of keeping women away from their houses during
menstruation is still prevalent in the district. According to the locals, those
women are not provided even with sufficient food and clothes during such
times.
