Cosmic air acquires fourth
Fokker 100 aircraft
COSMIC AIR’S 4TH FOKKER ARRIVES
The fourth Fokker – 100 aircraft of Cosmic Air
landed at Tribhuvan International Airport on Friday, which now makes the fleet
seven air crafts strong.
With an addition of the fourth Fokker – 100, this airline Cosmic Air is set to expand its
wings to new destinations such as Kolkota and Varanasi in India and in the near
future, Yangon in Myanmar.
According to a press release issued here today, the airline plans to operate by
the end of June to Kolkota three times a week on Monday, Friday and Saturday,
while Varanasi will be served three times a week on Tuesday, Thursday and
Saturdays.

Cosmic Air at present holds 50 per cent market share in the country, which the
airline has attributed to affordable fares both in domestic and international
sectors. Cosmic Air is also awaiting the approval from the Civil Aviation
Authority of Nepal for its planned service to Bhadrapur, using the Fokker jet
aircraft, adds the release.
Owing to people demand, the airline is re-introducing its Frequent Flyer
programme Fre-Flyer, whereby its passengers in both sectors will be awarded
points that can be converted to free tickets from all destinations operated by
Cosmic Air. In addition to this, frequent fliers can avail services and
discounts in leading business houses and stores associated with the airlines.
